KAYOU just opened a door we didn't know we needed.
tokidoki blind boxes just landed at Izzi's Gym — 20 of them — and we are fully down the rabbit hole.
If you haven't heard of Tokidoki, let me catch you up:
Italian artist Simone Legno launched it in 2005 as a mashup of Italian design and Japanese pop culture. "Tokidoki" literally means "sometimes" in Japanese. The characters — cactus unicorns (Unicorno), the Moofia milk bottle gang, Donutella, Sandy — have this unmistakable look: kawaii meets street art, pastel meets edge. It's impossible to describe. You just feel it when you see it.
The brand has collabed with Hello Kitty, Barbie, Marvel, LeSportsac, and Puma. It's not a trend — it's been quietly building one of the most loyal collector communities on the planet for 20 years.
And now Kayou brought them into the card colleting world.
If you know a kid — or honestly, an adult — who lights up for cute-but-weird characters and the thrill of not knowing what's in the box, come see us.
